Nayyar Hayat
Nayyar Hayat, who has joined the firm as Partner and Practice Manager. Nayyar is a seasoned professional with extensive expertise in the field. His credentials include:
- CPA (Aus), Chartered Financial Analyst (USA), and Fellow of Cost & Management Accountants (Pakistan).
- Tax Agent
- FASEA qualified (2021).
He has extensive experience in taxation, strategic planning, corporate governance, global tax structures, and risk management.
Nayyar brings a wealth of practical experience from various sectors, including sugar, steel, retail, real estate, education, health, and not-for-profit organizations. He has served as CFO and CEO of an international airline and held senior board positions, including Chairman roles.
His expertise and insights will undoubtedly strengthen our service offerings and provide additional value to you as a client.

Richard Dinsdale
BBus Accounting, IPA (since 2013), previous CPA (30 years)
Richard was the director of the Bachmann Robinson Pty Ltd business, with the firm since October 1996. He has had extensive experience in public accounting since 1975, commencing in audits then progressing to accounting and tax services with a Brisbane second tier firm for 12 years.
He then was involved with a Brisbane Litigation accountant for 10 years developing his experience in valuations and investigations of various entities.
As a consultant/part owner of the new practice of Bachmann Robinson (Qld) Pty Ltd.
Richard currently conducts the audits of non-profit associations and trust accounts for a number of clients. He also has an extensive range of accounting and taxation clients.
He has a wife and is an “empty nester” with his sons leaving home a number of years ago and has two grandchildren (the older grandson just commencing school).
His interests include involvement with churches and football, having various roles including playing, coaching and serving on committees.
Richard is involved on the organizing committee, for the last 18 years, of the local discussion group which is a joint venture of IPA and CPA, which meets monthly.

Tracey Ashton
BBus, SSA
Tracey is the go-to person in our firm for anything to do with superannuation. She has a Bachelor of Business in Accountancy. She is an SMSF Specialist Advisor with Self-Managed Super Fund Association and registered with the Tax Practitioners Board. She has extensive experience working with superannuation and Self-Managed Superannuation Funds. She has previously worked as an accountant for an intellectual property start-up company and a group of pharmacies.
She is a wife and mother of three children. She loves to travel and enjoy relaxing with a red wine and a good book.

Parvez Rahim
B.Com (Accountancy)
Parvez has over ten years of experience in the industry. He enjoys working with small to medium size businesses, assisting them with their accounting and taxation requirements. He provides tailored business solutions to his clients and advice on their accounting systems.
He holds Bachelor of Commerce (Accountancy) from Griffith University and is currently undertaking CPA program. In his spare time, he loves spending time with his family and friends, watching sports and movies, travelling.

Huma Ahmed
Huma joined Bachmann Robinson’s team in May 2024, having worked with other accounting firms from 2017. Her strengths include the ability to identify tax saving opportunities and implement effective tax strategies. Huma’s qualification includes a Masters of Professional Accounting from QUT. She is a mum of 4 Kids, loves to travel and spend time with family and friends.

Rebecka Davey
BBE (LAR), GDLA
After careers in Landscape Architecture and Real Estate, Rebecka has found her niche working alongside Tracey Ashton in administering Self-Managed Superannuation Funds.
She is a mum of two beautiful girls and enjoys helping others achieve their personal goals.

Susan Boyle
Susan has many years of extensive experience of working in accountants’ office. She started working for Bachmann Robinson in May 2006. She meticulously handles bookkeeping and preparation of business activity statements for a number of our clients. She is also proficient in various desktop-based accounting packages including QuickBooks, Reckon, MYOB, etc.

Josella Gordon
Josella has worked with Bachmann Robinson since Jan 2010. Prior to that, she worked at another accounting office for 4 years. Apart from her general admin duties she also fills in with the receptionist role whenever required. Josella handles ASIC reviews and any other ASIC related matters for more than 200 companies. She has completed a Diploma in Business Administration. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and going to the movies with friends.

Kate Grindrod
Kate is our front of House Admin. She spent 10 years in retail administration before moving onto Logistics Management for 2 years. She left the workforce to raise her children and dedicated the early years to volunteering in various roles within the local playgroup as well as within her sporting league. She started working for Bachmann Robinson in July 2016 and has not only learned a lot but enjoys helping clients decode accountant speak.

Russell Bachmann
In 1990, Russell acquired the practice from Denis Neilsen (who was retiring for the first time). He was joined by Richard Dinsdale in 1996 and by Peter Robinson in 1997. The firm was rebadged as Bachmann Robinson in September 1997.
Russell is now a Consultant at the firm and, through his vast experience and intimate knowledge of the tax laws, provides a very valuable and vast technical knowledge of accounting and tax applications.
Russell is very involved with his local Rotary group and also on various business groups having served in various management and committee roles even to this day.
He likes to spend the balance of his time away from the office at the farm and the livestock program.
He is married with three grown daughters. He will tell you he is a proud grandparent.
